The 10 Weather Impact team has updated the snowfall forecast to bring some of the heavier snowfall further north. Once all is said and done by Monday morning, 8"-16"+ of snow appears likely for the Columbus metro and much of central Ohio. There is likely to be a few spots that overachieve from this system, and could land over the 16 inch mark.

CLEVELAND, Ohio — The first snowfall projections for this weekend’s sprawling winter storm are calling for 9 or more inches for much of Northeast Ohio, aligning with the winter storm watch in effect from Saturday evening through Monday afternoon.
Snow in the forecast brings more than just a winter wonderland. It also increases the chance of power outages. Winter precipitation can cause power lines to sag, particularly if a snow-laden branch pushes them down. Those power lines can snap, causing outages.
A dozen states were under extreme cold warning from the National Weather Service (NWS) early Tuesday morning, with meteorologists cautioning that "dangerously cold" wind chills would hit. The U.S. has already faced multiple bouts of challenging weather this season.
