Ingredients Toor dal - 1 cup Tomatoes - 5 to 6 nos Shallots - 4 to 5 nos Garlic - 5 to 6 nos Curry leaves - 2 to 3 sprigs Dry red chillies - 4 to 5 nos Coriander seed - 1 tsp cumin seed - 1 tsp Pepper seed - 1 tsp Turmeric powder - 1 tsp Red chilli powder - 1 tsp Asafoetida powder - 1/2 tsp Mustard seed - 1 tsp Oil -2 to 3 tsp Method First we have to take a pan add toor dal and water . wash and drain them well. Take a mud pot add toordal and water . Thean add turmeric powder and stir them well.
