President Emmanuel Macron said France preferred “respect to bullies” and “the rule of law to brutality” in a speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos. While other European leaders have tried to keep a measured tone, Macron came out swinging after U.S. President Donald Trump threatened to impose steep tariffs if Europe does not let him take over Greenland.
